The special machine HBBA (Heinicke Bohr- und Besäum-Anlage – Heinicke Drilling and Trimming Rig) was developed solely by the team at E. Heinicke. The HBBA was developed and built for the task of machining rotor blades of ever more and ever larger wind turbines from all manufacturers, so that these rotor blades can be safely fixed onto the hub of the wind turbine. A demanding task with special requirements regarding flexibility, reliability, precision and efficiency.
