The family business was founded by the father of the current owner in Lemwerder in the 1960’s. And until today the headquarters has remained here close to Bremen.
Originally we were a supplier for the local ship-building industry, before we decided to get involved in the wind power market in the 1980’s, which was then beginning to be developed in Northern Germany, an area which has a lot of wind.
From today’s perspective it was the “right decision at the right time”. With our experience in ship building and our absolute commitment to perfection, we were quickly able to gain a foothold in this new market, especially as the young industry found itself in a critical development phase.
